Rusty Voight, PT, cert. DN

Director of Clinical Operations

Meet Rusty, a distinguished clinician and leader at TheraWest Physical Therapy. His journey in physical therapy is not only inspiring but deeply rooted in his hometown of Weatherford. As a standout athlete in both football and soccer during his high school years, Rusty achieved all-district honors in football and all-state honors in soccer, culminating in a state championship in football.

Continuing a proud family tradition, Rusty followed in the footsteps of his SWOSU graduate parents. His athletic talent secured him a full scholarship to play football at SWOSU, where he also excelled academically. A recipient of the Regents Academic Scholarship, Rusty graduated cum laude with a degree in Biological Sciences, earning all-conference academic honors while actively participating in football.

Rusty's journey led him to marry the love of his life in 2005, and together they embarked on his physical therapy journey at the University of Oklahoma. His skill development included working with performers from the Tulsa Ballet and engaging in diverse clinical rotations. Rusty and his wife decided to return to Weatherford, where he began his career at Integris Clinton Regional Hospital, gaining a comprehensive understanding of patient care.

Rising quickly to a director's position at Weatherford Regional Hospital, Rusty honed his leadership and mentorship skills, impacting the lives of staff and students alike. His passion for education was further ignited as an adjunct professor at SWOSU, teaching pathophysiology.

In 2014, Rusty's career came full circle when he joined TheraWest Physical Therapy. As a student, he had trained at TheraWest, making his return as the Director of Clinical Operations a homecoming in every sense. Here, he has been pivotal in cultivating clinical excellence and a supportive environment for both patients and clinicians. Rusty's commitment to lifelong learning is evident in his additional qualifications in spine manipulation, sports recovery, and dry needling certification.

Rusty has treated patients ranging from 6 weeks old to 104 years, reflecting his versatile and compassionate approach. When not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, traveling, golfing, and indulging in new culinary experiences.

Under Rusty's guidance at TheraWest Physical Therapy, patients across central and western Oklahoma receive care that is a blend of excellence, empathy, and expertise. His leadership ensures that every patient's recovery journey is supported by the highest standards of physical therapy practice. TheraWest, under Rusty's leadership, stands as a beacon of patient-centered therapy, extending its commitment to health and well-being throughout the region.

K. Mark Janitz, PT, cert. DN

Lead Therapist Yukon Facility

Meet Mark Janitz, a dedicated physical therapist with 15 years of specialized experience, who passionately guides his patients towards recovery and optimal health. A proud alumnus of the University of Oklahoma, Mark graduated in 2009 with a profound commitment to enhancing physical wellbeing.

Specializing in outpatient orthopedics, Mark has dedicated his entire career to this challenging yet rewarding field. His expertise is particularly notable in working with high school and college athletes, where he combines his deep understanding of sports injuries with a personalized approach to rehabilitation.

Mark's proficiency extends to advanced therapeutic techniques, being certified in dry needling. His training in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) therapy and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), including cupping, sets him apart, offering his patients innovative and effective treatment options.

One of Mark's areas of passion is working with patients undergoing Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) and Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA), especially those requiring custom revisions. His approach is deeply empathetic, born from his personal journey of overcoming osteosarcoma in his right leg, which led to a total femur replacement. This experience not only fueled his interest in physical therapy but also gifted him with a unique perspective on the physical and emotional aspects of recovery.
